Teacher Resource Kits Awarded!
At Christmas time we asked our faithful customers, web visitors and followers to nominate teachers to receive an Agricultural Teacher Resource Kit for use in their classroom. The kits are put together by the Animal Agricultural Alliance and provide a lot of data, and tools that explain how animal agricultural really works and where our food comes from. We had planned on buying ten (10) kits but with the number of nominations we received we have arranged for 15 kits to be purchased and sent. The teachers selected are:
Karen Breeding, Bridgeville, DE
Gary Burns, Maquoketa, IA
Kristina Brake, Smithfield, NC
Arika Bohnsack-Faith, Moline, IL
Jill Duesterhaus, Quincy, IL
Heartland Acres, Independence, IA
Chris Klaassen, Hydro, OK
Chandis Kottkamp, Clayton, IN
Lisa Nicholson, Skiatook, OK
Mr. Parisher, Cypress, TX
Carolyn Piquet, Vinita, OK
John Schut, Caledonia, MI
Mrs. Schniers, Abernathy, TX
Tom Thompson, Union Star, M
Larry White, Rudder High
We sincerely hope that these education kits get put to good use and look forward to bringing you reports from the teachers as to their use.
As we reported yesterday the Ranch and NE Oklahoma had a layer of ice and snow. Here are some pictures the guys took giving you an idea of how things look.
