Record Number of Bidders For December Internet Auction

Monday night found a record number of bidders huddled around their computers for the conclusion of the Star Lake Monthly Internet Sale - December Edition.   It may have been cold outside but the keyboards were smokin' as bidders went after some of Star Lake's hottest matings.

The auction featured three live animal lots (two heifers and a bull) and eleven (11) embryo lots that garnered a total sale of $28,600.   The 39 embryos sold for a total of $19,900 with an average of $510. each.   The three live animal lots sold for a total of  $8700 with an average of $2,900 each.

The Lot 1 heifer, STAR Just Know My Name 327X ET, who is a May Bogart daughter sold for $3100.   The Lot 2 heifer, STAR GNRF Peek-A-Boo 323X ET was sold for $2700.  The January bull calf featured as Lot 14 out of 4059 and Beyond sold for $2900.

Of the eleven embryo lots featured the top three sellers were - Lot 7 featured three embryos out of Belle and the immortal Online...after heavy bidding the final bid was $1,550. each.   These were a sale feature and this mating has not missed.  The Lot 5 package of four embryos out of Ginger Gal and the Advance bull brought $650. each at the conclusion of the bid-off.  Rounding out the Top 3 were the Lot 3 mating of Oralee 173P and Advance at $550. each.

We look forward to seeing everyone in Denver next month and we will be having our January Internet Auction right on schedule.  Bidding will open on Thursday January 13th and the bid-off will wrap things up on Monday night the 17th at 7 pm CDT.   The postings of the sale lots will begin with in the next week.
