On Monday night we closed our Pick Your Sweetheart Sale with a lively crowd online. When the dust had settled and the last bid had been placed we grossed just under $43,000 on our 21 Lots. This month we featured 3 live animal lots, 2 baskets of embryos and 16 standard embryo lots. The embryos sold for just over $525 each and the live animals averaged $7,033.
The high seller this month was the last lot in the sale and was a full brother to the heifer that the Stumpf boys have show so successfully early this year. He is a maternal brother to Lock-N-Load sired by Outcross and we sold 1/2 interest in him last night for $7,500. The high selling embryo lot were out of the Investor Gal power cow and sired by Online. This set of three embryos sold for $700 each. The high selling basket of embryos featured seven embryos sired by Online out of the Fancy Maiden cow and sold for $2,700.
