Meanwhile, back at the Ranch....

Since we are no longer at the National Western it was time to update our title a bit.  Everyone is back in Skiatook at the Ranch and today we are in the midst of a Winter Storm Warning.   There is approximately 3" of snow on the ground and that brings most things in the Tulsa metro to a screeching halt.   The good thing is the weather changes pretty quick and just like Denver the roads will melt clear and the snow will be gone.  Although the resulting mud is a pain, we've learned to take whatever moisture the good Lord decides to give us.

Today we thought we would share with you some pics that were shot yesterday at the Ranch.  We hear many times how our bulls are overly pampered and here are a couple of shots of 3-time National Champion and 2-time Denver Supreme Champion Shock & Awe and his buddy, Lock-N-Load (who followed him as Reserve Division) hanging out in a lot like everybody else.  They are in the snow today and will be in the mud tomorrow.

We have said repeatedly that we are very, very excited about the Shock & Awe calf crop that is hitting the ground right now.  The following pictures add credence to our excitement.

Finally is a great shot of what springtime at the Ranch is all about...mama cows and baby calves.  As most of us will agree there is nothing cuter than a white faced calf.

Tomorrow we bring you the recipients of the Teacher Kits...until then.
