It has been a busy few weeks here on the Star Lake website and things will take a quick breather after closing out our March Internet Auction last night. We closed out our auction this month with some active bidding and eager buyers. This month's auction featured 14 lots which consisted of 2 live animal lots, 11 embryo lots and one basket of 13 embryos. The auction grossed just under $22,000 when the final bid had been placed, with the embryos averaging $450 a piece.
The high selling embryo lot this month was a tie between the Lot 4 and Lot 6 embryos which each sold for $650 a piece. The Lot 4 embryos were out of the Belle 117L cow and sired by the breed icon Online. The Lot 6 embryos where out of Brite Kessie and sired by Titleist making them full siblings to Mallorie Plehps' National Western Grand Champion female Mirror Image.
