In the past few years we have come up with what some may call "adventurous" names for our cattle. And this year is no different... we would love to let you in on some of the great names we have conjured up this year but you have to wait until you get your May Sale catalog for your first taste! As we where pouring through list upon list of names trying to pick just the right name for a calf it hit us. Why don't we let all of our friends on the internet decide?!?!
This calf is not just another calf this one has a very special and promising young momma, coupled with one hot shot of a sire. The calf is 174X and her momma, RVP STAR 533P UNEQUALED 53U, is a full sibling to two-time National Western Division winner Can-Am! And that is not where the excitement stops in this February 7th heifers pedigree, she is sired by our GO ADVANCE S109 bull that is the sire of some of the best calves in the current crop.
This young lady has a bunch of promise and we want you to be able to follow both her and her mother through weaning and beyond. We will be updating pictures and writing articles letting you know how both momma and baby are doing.
